The project aims to develop a prototype which is :

• Low Cost

• Tool Mounted System 

• Retro-fittable

• Ultrasonic Melt System

WORK PROGRAM

During the 3 year project, the following program will be adopted

Year 1

• To asses industry requirements through association members feedback

• To develop various elements of prototype concepts and test

Year 2

• Identify industrial manufacturing and supply partners and develop case studies from association members

• Develop an integrated working prototype system and trial.

Year 3

• Disseminate Ultra-melt system to European polymer sector

• Transfer technology to SME companies who wish to be involved in the equipment supply chain..
